On 10/22/24 AICC and cohost USABC hosted a gala luncheon and a business forum featuring Bank Indonesia Governor Perry Warjiyo as part of a celebration of 75 years of Indonesia’s sovereignty, 75 years of US-Indonesia relations, AICC’s 75 anniversary and USABC’s 40th. With opening remarks by Acting Ambassador of Indonesia to the US, Sade Bimantara, the event featured the “USABC-AICC Distinguised Servce Award for US-Indonesia Economic Relations” given to Bank Indonesia for its central role in maintaining a stable foreign exchange regime (especially during the recent turbulence of supply chain disruptions caused by wars and the COVID pandemic) central to all business transactions.
